FAQ
What do I get with a Visions On Canvas print?
Canvas Only is rolled and shipped in
a tube. The Standard Wrap is a 5/8” frame thickness wrapped and
includes all wall hanging hardware installed. The canvas is shrink wrapped to ensure safe delivery.
The Museum Wrap is a 1 1/2” frame thickness wrapped and
includes all wall hanging hardware installed. It is shrink wrapped to ensure safe delivery.
Do you edit my photos?
Each photo is properly sized, cropped, and color ajusted to look its best with each canvas.
What is the difference between Museum and Standard
size frames?
Museum prints are 1 1/2’’ thick whereas Standard size is 5/8’’
in thickness.
Can I scan my photo or upload it?
Yes! Just make sure that you set the dpi to the maximum (at least 300dpi).
Will my canvas look the same as the image on my screen?
We use ICC profiles to color match to an RGB color space. This provides a high quality color print. Because all monitors have different settings we cannot guarantee
the color match of your canvas. Images can also slightly vary due to scaling
variations.
Product Satisfaction
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we'll reprint it at no charge.
Can I see a proof before the final product is made?
Yes! We want you to be completely satisfied with the final output.
You will receive an e-mail pdf digital proof of your photo from us shortly after you upload your file to
us for approval or to make any changes.
When will I receive my canvas?
5-10 working days after your approvals and full payment is received.
How much is delivery?
Standard Shipping: $15.00
Priority Shipping: $40.00
We usually ship UPS Ground, which takes approximately 3-5 business days
for shipment (this does not include the time for printing and framing
the canvas). We'll email you a tracking number as soon as your order has
been shipped. Priority shipping guarantees delivery within 3-5 business
days of receiving the order or photo.
Can you deliver to a different address?
You can enter a different delivery address when placing your order.
Shipping Damage
All of our merchandise is fully exchangeable within 7 days for
any shipping damage.
What type of canvas do you use?
We use high quality White Inkjet Canvas that is optimal for printing
photographs and fine art work. The canvas comes in matte finish and satin (gloss) finish.
Do you apply any waterproof layers on your
canvas?
We use a waterproof canvas, and on top of that, we add a UV sealer
finish to protect, preserve, and enhance the fine art and photographic
prints.
How should I care for my canvas?
Do not expose to direct sunlight or moisture. An occasional light
vacuuming with a brush attachment is suggested.
Can I display my canvas prints outside?
In a word, NO, canvas prints are for indoor use only.
How long are my prints going to last?
You should not store or hang your prints outdoors and not expose
them to direct sunlight as with any original piece of art. We use a protective
UV coating with all canvas art and your prints should last many generations.
Can I supply a hard print original rather than a digital photo?
If you can’t scan your original and provide a digital format
we can do this for you at a minimal extra fee. The fee is based on your original and time needed.
Most photo scans can be done in less than 30 minutes at $25.00 each. We will e-mail you scanning
pricing if we need to go above the $25.00. Please send your print to our shipping address
in a safe waterproof envelope or courier bag along with a stamped addressed return
envelope. We cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of your original photo.
What size and format should my files be?
It really depends on how large you want your canvas printed, but
the most optimal resolution is 300 dpi. We can work with 100dpi as well
for smaller prints. Most pictures from your digital camera should work
as long as it is at least 3 megapixels. Format should be ideally .jpeg
or .tiff. If there's anything wrong with the resolution, we'll contact
you via email. If it's not in that file format, just contact us at sales@visionsoncanvas.com.
How big can I enlarge my photograph on canvas?
You should review your camera’s owner's manual to set up
your camera for optimal results. In addition, please review the chart
below for an idea of how large you can make your photograph based off
your camera’s megapixel size.
